Biography

Ross is a relentless litigator and trial attorney who handles cases from Paducah to Pikeville and throughout Ohio. Ross focuses his practice on corporate nursing home neglect and abuse, medical negligence, catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.

Ross is a subject-matter expert in nursing home litigation and has handled and managed well over 1,000 nursing home cases since 2012. Ross started his career as a litigator for the largest personal injury firm in Illinois (2009-2012) before joining a national nursing home litigation firm where his practice focused on catastrophic nursing home cases and trial practice. In 2017, Ross was recruited by a regional Kentucky/Tennessee personal injury firm to build and manage a nursing home litigation department where he oversaw the largest elder abuse and neglect caseload in the Commonwealth.

Ross founded Ross Mann Law PLLC to continue doing what he loves but with his vision for the execution. Ross has tried corporate nursing home abuse and neglect cases to jury verdict in 2015 ($18,000,000 jury verdict – Madison Co.), 2016 ($1,180,000 jury verdict – Hardin Co.), and 2017 ($28,055,000 jury verdict – McCracken Co.), and obtained a jury verdict of $10,000,000 in a medical malpractice case in 2023. Ross has received a unanimous vote on the nursing home’s liability in every case he has tried to jury. Ross has given CLE presentations on corporate nursing home liability and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer®. Ross is regularly consulted and brought in on cases by other attorneys.

Ross is the son of a rural family physician and emergency room nurse, and the namesake of his late grandfather, an evangelical preacher. Ross was inspired by his parents and grandfather to care and fight for people. Ross is a graduate of Lexington Catholic High School (1999), and the University of Michigan (2004) where he walked-on the varsity football team, earned a scholarship and lettered two seasons while being a part of three Big Ten Championship teams. Ross applies the lessons he learned in his football career to his law practice: grit, discipline and hardwork. Ross graduated from Capital University Law School (2009) where he earned the Freeman Scholarship for Excellence in Constitutional Law. In his free time, Ross enjoys spending time with his son, is active in his church community and was recently blessed to take a mission trip to Honduras. Ross also enjoys Michigan and Kentucky football and basketball, and reading every book he can get his hands on.
